Rumor has it that Samsung is not satisfied with the huge gap between European and North American launch of the smartphone, so it decided to announce a bit later this year.
This means that the Galaxy S III may be seen the world roll-out shortly after the official announcement.
In this case, Samsung announced it will hold a press event on March 15 in the Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg,), where the company plans to reveal 2012 lineup of handsets.
It is possible that the Samsung Galaxy S III will be officially unveiled during this event, but we probably will know more as soon as Mobile World Congress 2012 trade fair closed.
Although the phone has not been announced it appears that operators worldwide have already said they will offer the Galaxy S III at some point during the year.
MyBroadband South-Africa reported that the main carrier MTN recently confirmed will offer Samsung Galaxy S III as an alternative to Samsung Galaxy Nexus, the carrier refused to add to its portfolio.
According to MTN, Galaxy S III have ranged, but the phone needs to follow a certain procedure, such as testing, pricing and advertising. Only after this process will complement the Galaxy S III will hit the shelves in the MTN.
Other South African carriers hope to be able to offer the Galaxy S III as well. Virgin Mobile expects to be able to bring smartphone from Q3 2012, while the C your more optimistic and predict they will begin offering the Galaxy S III from July.
