DROID RAZR and DROID RAZR MAXX Getting Major Software Updates Soon

Verizon set up a major software update for its two top smartphone Android, and DROID DROID RAZR RAZR maxx.

Although the operator has issued an official changelog, the update has yet to be released on its airwaves. 6.12.173.XT912.Verizon.en.US software updates will be pushed OTA (over the air) in the coming days.

Keep in mind that the smartphone will receive the same software update, which means that DROID DROID RAZR maxx RAZR and will get the same bug fixes and new features.

This update leaked a few weeks ago, but no confirmation of whether the carrier planned to roll out updates at that time or not. Today, Verizon asserted that the final version of the update will be available for download soon.

Many improvements have been added, along with several new features and applications. Visual letter received the upgrade, while the V Cast app will come pre-loaded on the smartphone.


  
It is also worth mentioning that the battery life when using a headset Bluetooth Phone Book Access Profile has been greatly improved, along with the stability of the device while browsing among the panel screen.

- Step-by-step installation MotoCast been improved for easier use.

Data Connectivity:

- Improved stability data connectivity after Mode disabled aircraft;
- Increased data throughput performance at low signal-4G environment.

Device Operation:

- Successfully storing multimedia ring tones;
- Favorite Contacts widget has been updated;
- Improved stability when the device is moved between screen panel;
- Icon Email has been updated to improve visibility;
   When doing a long update (OTA) air, right screen will show the download time remaining;
- CMAS (Commercial Mobile Alert Service) features have been added.

Verizon should not take more than a few days to begin to roll out software updates are consistent and DROID DROID RAZR maxx RAZR, so wait for further updates on the matter.
