Bell Canada is one of the operators who are confirmed will offer the Notes Galaxy. This phone has just appeared on the Bell site with 'Coming Soon' tag attached to it.
Exciting as this may, the smartphone will not hit shelves earlier than mid-February. At least this is what Bell officially declared earlier this month. Details on smartphone pricing options yet to be unveiled as well.
Just like AT & T variant, note the Galaxy will have the same layout design, including grid-like pattern on the back cover and four touch-sensitive buttons that replace large D-pad that comes with the European version.
Included in the sales package, S Pen stylus allows users to sketch, draw or write emails, memos and text messages in the free form handwriting. Another thing that is available in the package include: standard battery, travel charger, USB cable, stereo headset, and Quick start guide Safety and warranty guide.
The phone comes with a full LTE support for 700 and 1700 MHz band networks, and global access. DLNA, Mobile Hotspot, Wi-Fi and HDMI through SFM is also available.
Although smartphone powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread at the launch of Samsung has confirmed plans to use an Ice Cream Sandwich to upgrade Notes Galaxy in Q1 2012.
However, the selling point of the phone is super stunning 5.3-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports resolutions of 800 x 1280 pixels and 16 million colors. The display features Corning Gorilla Glass for a layer of protection against scrapes and scratches.
Hardware-wise, Note Galaxy is equipped with dual-core processor 1.5 GHz, an Adreno 220 graphics processing unit, 16GB of internal memory, 1GB of RAM and a microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
Other highlights of the phone include: 2500 mAh Li-Ion, 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and a built-in GPS with AGPS support and GLONASS.
